2004 Annual Report 

Our efforts this year have focused on increasing the number of volunteer staff and with the assistance of Rector Sarah Macneil we have seen this achieved. 

In May of 2004 we lost a very dear friend and helper, John Clendinning, his passing has been felt by all who knew him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Eileen who is slowly recovering from complications arising from an initial fall. 

I would also like to express my appreciation to all the staff who help out each week, in particular Peter McNee and Ted Bamford.  Ted and his son, Graham, recently installed outside fold-up tables, these quick to set up tables enable us to display our goods on the verandah and can be easily dismantled when not in use.   

We have also purchased two new heavy-duty clothing racks and much to the delight of our staff, these can be manoeuvred in and out of the shop with ease.   

2004 saw us receive an abundance of clothing and saleable items and I take this opportunity to sincerely thank our generous parishioners.  After the 2004 season sales excess stock was donated to Anglicare and we will endeavour to continue this support in 2005.
