All Saints Anglican Church Ainslie welcomes children to its
worship and community life. We are
committed to love, nurture, protect and treasure every child and young person as
a gift from God.
In order to provide ministry to younger children All Saints
holds Children’s Church once a fortnight during the school term.
Schedule
for Terms 2, 3 and 4, 2008
Special teaching, music and activities for 4 to 12 year
olds are provided in the Meeting Place from 9.30am until approximately 10.15am
during the Sung Eucharist. The
children and leaders commence the service and leave for Children's Church after
the reading of the Gospel. They rejoin the worship in time for the sacrament of Holy Communion. Parents
are welcome to attend Children’s Church with their children or stay and
attend the Sung Eucharist. Alternatively,
children can be collected after church at 10.45am.
All Saints Ainslie’s Children’s Church provides an
opportunity for our children to learn about God’s love, the story of Jesus’
life and teaching and our Church and its traditions. The stories and activities generally relate to the theme and
readings being used in the liturgy that day.
Children’s Church activities are co-ordinated by
parishioners Louise Watson and Chris Ryan.
All Saints Ainslie complies with the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn’s policies and practices relating to child protection. More information on these policies and practices is available on the Diocese website at
