Children's Church

All Saints Anglican Church Ainslie welcomes children to its worship and community life. We are committed to love, nurture, protect and treasure every child and young person as a gift from God.

In order to provide ministry to younger children, All Saints holds Children's Church each Sunday at the 9.30am service during the school term except when Little Saints occurs the evening before. Click here for the dates for 2009.

Special teaching, music and activities for 4 to 12 year olds are provided in the Meeting Place.easter_day_children.jpg

The children and leaders commence the service and leave for Children's Church after the reading of the Gospel.

They rejoin the worship in time for the sacrament of Holy Communion.

Parents are welcome to attend Children's Church with their children or stay and attend the Solemn High Mass.

Alternatively, children can be collected after church at 10.45am.

All Saints Ainslie's Children's Church provides an opportunity for our children to learn about God's love, the story of Jesus' life and teaching and our Church and its traditions. The stories and activities generally relate to the theme and readings being used in the liturgy that day.

Children's Church activities are co-ordinated by parishioners Louise Watson and Chris Ryan.

All Saints Ainslie complies with the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn's policies and practices relating to child protection. More information on these policies and practices is available on the Diocese website.

1st Saturday in the month from 6.00 – 6.45 pm

Once a month children, usually aged 4 – 12 years, gather their parents and grandparents and take them to church. Beginning at 6.00 pm on the 1st Saturday in the month and lasting just 45 minutes, we work closely with the children with the adults watching on. This is the reverse of what normally happens at church. Sarah provides a highly interactive, energy charged, fun filled worship time for the little people of our community. They love it.

Games for the children

Every two months we have party time for the children coming to Little Saints on Saturday. They meet with parents at 5.15 pm and have a great time with food, games and lots of fun. In addition we have occasional barbecues and social activities for families.

Tiny Saints

Several times during the year we organise play mornings for 0-5 year olds. They are welcome to bring older siblings and adults. These play mornings feature a variety of activities as well as a nutritious and tasty morning tea. If you would like more information on these mornings, please contact the All Saints Ainslie office on (02) 6248 7420 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
